Great app. I can check it to see how much student loan debt I have at any time! How awesome to know what a hole youre in at any given time! But in all honesty, it is a good and easy app to use.

Im having the same problem as many others. I make a payment on the app then have to wait 5 days for the transaction to go through. You get a confirmation number but theres no update on the app. The message center updates on the app would have made this a whole lot easier.

The app is convenient to pay on my accounts, however, I wish I had more access to options like the website offers. Such as, changing my due date for bills.

This is a good app for payment of your student loans and its very good for contacting them.

I know this app used to be great but I havent accessed it in a month or two and now it keeps having an error message saying its having trouble and to log out then try again. I do that and the same thing happens.

Also, I have chase bank. I would like to send that principal to them thru Chase Bill Pay. A little more paper trail ya know! Put up your P.O. BOX info with our loan number. Of course yes after we log in!

Love having loan payments accessible from my phone, but a huge word of caution: if youre entering an additional payment manually, it doesnt look like you submitted it, and if you hit submit again, it will take it out of your account twice. Avoid a few hours of nasty stress talking with Great Lakes and your bank by just using the computer version. Its not worth the stress.

Thanks for the much needed update. Wouldnt mind Touch ID support though.

I used to have school loans through several different companies. I decided to consolidate them into one loan. When I was given the choice of which company I wanted to remain with for my new loan, it was no question for me. Great Lakes has been the best company to work with, and they have always had the best customer service. Whenever I have any questions, they are polite, patient, and understanding. This app is just an extension of their great service! I can view my monthly payment, balance, historical payments, and contact them straight through the app if necessary. I have never had any issues with logging in or payments not being received. Overall, I am an extremely happy customer. Even though school loans are never fun to pay back, I feel confident that Great Lakes is the best company to work with as I pay them down!

New version is crashing on launch (9.0.1). Please fix!

With our loans being separated and having different interest rates, itd be nice to be able to make payments to the loan we prefer when making additional payments rather than call to get payments reapplied which takes up to 10 days.

Paying student loans isnt fun, what so ever, but the GL app makes it easy!! Like super easy. Just hook your account up, or manually submit your payment through the app and it updates you exactly when your money goes in. It also reminds you of upcoming payment dates. Just super convenient!!

Didnt expect the app to also be updated for iPhone 6s Plus. Makes paying off loans easy and convenient.

I like the app so far! Its working for me. All I need to do is make a payment so its good for my use.

All this company does is be a middleman & lobbyist keeping out student loan interest rates too high.

Ill start off by saying that okay, Im glad this app exists. It makes loan payments easy. However its unnecessarily difficult to figure out account information. For example, I had set up monthly payments through the app and now Im noticing that its not actually processing any payments automatically, as its meant to do so. And if I want to go into my history to check what the status of that setup is, I see nothing. So overall, poor user experience/Not easy to navigate and its incredibly frustrating.

This app is very user friendly at the moment of creating a payment. It gives you very accurate information and it let you monitor your payments

Good for simple payments. Unable to stop automatic payments. No way to calculate payoff at a future date.

This app is pretty straightforward and easy to use which is great! But I cant give it 5 stars because its missing the Message Center. It would be really useful to add that to the app.
